Cold Formable Blister Alu-Alu is made of aluminum foil, nylon (BoPA) and PVC films, by using dry bond lamination technology. As blisters are formed at room temperature, without heating, so it is called as cold forming blister laminated foil.
Alu-Alu bottom foil is one type of triplex packaging material, between each two layers, there is adhesive for lamination. The adhesive what we are using is imported from USA, to ensure good performance during cold forming process, such as no delamination and cracking.
Tiptop’s Alu-Alu triplex film is manufactured using the state-of-the art machines to meet the high quality requirements of the pharmaceutical & food Industry, and it is registered and active in China FDA now.
As one type of blister packaging barrier, cold formable blister Alu-Alu is made of composite materials that include aluminum foil, so it is totally against the visiable light and UV rays, and nearly 100% resistant to moisture, oxygen, so it is a perfect primary packaging barrier for high sensitive products.
On the other hand, with its whole aluminum shaped format, it gives high value image to your product.
Generally speaking: the light foil (25/50/60) is good enough for small blisters or doses, like 1# or 2# capsules, small round tablets or pills, etc. But the blister profile and distance between each one will affect the performance of cold forming.
So it is best that you could share us the forming drawings, or send blister packs to us; if not available, the clear images of blister pack will be helpful to check and recommend the good foil to you.

Please kindly be noted: other thickness is also available in Tiptop, but production time will be a little longer, since raw materials will be purchased by order.
The printed Alu-Alu blister foil is available in Tiptop, normally in single color.
In this case, the printing artwork is necessary to make the printing cylinder firstly; if no printing design, the original sample or clear images are very helpful, we will work on the draft for you to confirm before sample and bulk production.
The cylinder will be available for the following orders with same printing. But if printing artwork is different, like a letter, a number, layout, etc, new cylinder will be needed.
Tiptop’s partner of print cylinder is professional and good at making the exact and durable one for bulk order in the future.

1.1 each roll is sealed in PE bag, loaded into carton. Cartons stack into shipment container directly.
Aproxi 15-18tons for one 20ft FCL load, which depends on roll width & weight.
1.2 each roll is sealed in PE bag, loaded into carton. Cartons stack on plywood pallet, with four edge protectors and plastic film wrapping.
Aproxi 15-16tons for one 20ft FCL load, which depends on roll widths & weight.
Jumbo roll is wrapped by PE film, then suspended in plywood case with silica gels.
Approx 16-18tons for one 20ft FCL container, which depends on roll width & weight.
